    CHALLENGES

As a support coordination team we understand you might be facing

Overwhelm when faced with participants with complex neuro respiratory conditions, having little information about their prognosis and expected recovery

Difficulty identifying what equipment and resources your participant may require to manage their respiratory function, and how to access it

Difficulty finding physiotherapists that can meet both the participants respiratory and neurological needs effectively and have the expertise to optimise their care

We are also eager to hear from you about specific barriers and challenges you face in your day to day roles, and how we can support you by sending us an email at reception@active-
    edge-physio.com.au

During this session run solely by our director and clinical lead physiotherapist, your team will learn how to

    1. Screen whether breathing is a problem for your participant
    2. Gauge whether other risk factors are present that predispose to respiratory tract infections or respiratory insufficiency
    3. Understand whether your participant’s function is stable, deteriorating or improving
    4. Assess your participant’s level of respiratory risk, gain understanding of when and how to escalate as well as who to proactively involve, in a step by step simple process
    5. Understand sleep health and when to delve deeper and refer for further investigation

At the end of our online education session, you will receive an electronic resource to use when talking to your participants. All for FREE.
