Your Visit

        What to expect

During your first appointment, your physiotherapist will ask you about your medical history and your goals. They will conduct a thorough assessment of your identified problems, and discuss a plan with you for your treatment going forward. Treatment is also commenced during this appointment.

If you have any relevant information such as referrals, radiology results, medical or surgical reports please have these ready to show to your physiotherapist.

Private health insurance

Private health insurance rebates vary so we recommend contacting your health fund directly. As we are an exclusively mobile service, we do not have access to immediate rebate with HICAPS, however we are able to provide you with the correct documentation to claim your expenses.

Medicare rebates

Physiotherapy is not fully covered under Medicare, however you may wish to speak with your GP to see whether you are eligible for the Chronic Disease Management Program to subsidise the cost of your physiotherapy. For more information about these programs visit www.medicareaustralia.gov.au.

Compensable bodies

All of our physiotherapists are registered providers for the Transport Accident Commission, Victorian Workcover Authority, Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We are able to invoice your funding body directly to avoid out of pocket costs.
